Senator Smucker Encourages Participation in Pennsylvania Fish for Free DaysSenator Lloyd Smucker (R-Lancaster and York) is encouraging everyone to participate in Fish for Free Days this Sunday, June 7, 2009. Fish for Free Days is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and allows anyone (resident or non-resident) to legally fish without a fishing license on Pennsylvania's waterways on these designated days. All other fishing regulations still apply. "Pennsylvania has some of the most pristine streams and lakes in the country. Fishing is a great opportunity to bond with family or friends and the Fish for Free Days program is the perfect opening to introduce a friend or relative to the lifelong sport of fishing," Smucker said.
