September 2, 2009 – Senator Smucker attended an open house at
Martic Elementary School in the Penn Manor School District. The district
remodeled the elementary school and has provided the students with a virtually
new building. Martic Elementary has had an extreme makeover, in the popular
phrase. The end result looks to be stylish and functional, giving students a
better environment in which to learn.
