February 20, 2009 - During a visit to Alcoa's Lancaster Works
Plant, Senator Smucker spoke with company officials regarding a variety of
issues related to their business and the economy. Alcoa is a leader in the
production of common alloy products specializing in aluminum sheet and cast
plate. Alcoa employs over 700 in their 1.3 million square foot plant in
Lancaster.

February 19, 2009 - Senator Smucker was greeted warmly by the
students, teachers and administrators of the School District of Lancaster on a
recent tour of the district. Upon arriving at Edward Hand Middle School, the
Senator was welcomed by this message.
